Preparation

For your BROOKIES you still need additionally:

Brownies:

  • 100ml soy drink
  • 50g soft margarine

Cookies:

  • 50g soft margarine

Furthermore:

  • Loaf pan (20 or 25 cm)
  • hand mixer with a whisk and a kneading hook

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat and thoroughly oil you loaf pan. Optionally, you can also sprinkle some flour in.

Add your brownie baking mix with the soy drink and the margarine to a mixing bowl.  Mix everything with a hand mixer with a whisk on medium speed, until it forms a smooth mass (about 1 minute).

Add the dough to the oiled loaf pan and smoothen it out a bit.  Now add your cookie baking mix and the soft margarine to a mixing bowl. Using your mixer with the kneading hook on lowest speed, make a smooth dough. Form cookies with your hands and put them on the brownie dough. Bake your Brookies for about 22-25 minutes in the middle rack of your oven. After baking, let them cool down a bit in the loaf pan before taking them out and cutting them into pieces.

Tip:

Take care of the baking time! If you bake your brookies longer, they will be less juicy. You can also prepare the brookies with other plant drinks. Please note that the consistency might vary if using other plant drinks.
