ORGANIC BAKING MIX FOR BROWNIES with 20.8 % mix for cheesecake

BROWNIE BAKING MIX: Raw cane sugar*, rice flour*, corn flour*, 12.0 % dark couverture chocolate*1 (cocoa mass*4, sugar*, cocoa butter*4), 7.5% cocoa powder*4, tapioca starch*, 3.0 % dark couverture chocolate*2 (cocoa mass*4, cocoa butter*4, coconut blossom sugar*), chia seed flour* (Salvia hispanica), salt, raising agent: sodium hydrogen carbonate; acid: potassium tartrates3, emulsifier: lecithin* (sunflower*).

Preparation

You’ll also need:

  • 200 ml milk (or soy drink)
  • 100 g soft butter (or soft magarine)
  • 150 g Natural Yogurt (3,8 % fat)
    with 200 g low fat quark and 1 egg
    (or 400 g soy quark or yogurt)
  • a baking tray or oven-proof dish***
    (20 x 20 cm),
  • a hand mixer with a whisk

Preparation:

  • Preheat your conventional oven to 170 °C or your fan-assisted oven to 150 °C and grease your baking tray well. You can also add a layer of flour if desired.
  • Add the brownie baking mix, milk (or soy drink) and butter (or margarine) to a mixing bowl. Combine everything using a hand mixer with a whisk on medium setting until you have a smooth mixture (approx. 1 minute). Add the whisked mixture to your baking tray and spread it out smoothly.
  • Add your cheesecake mixture, together with the yogurt, quark and the egg (or soy quark or yogurt) into a second mixing bowl. Combine everything using a hand mixer with a whisk on the lowest setting until you have a smooth mixture. Spread the mixture onto the brownie dough and swirl both mixtures together using a fork.
  • Bake your Cheesecake Brownies on the middle oven rack for approx. 50 minutes.
  • Allow your Cheesecake Brownies to cool in the tray. When they are cold, you can carefully cut them into pieces and remove them from the tray.

Note: Pay attention to the baking time! If you bake your Cheesecake Brownies for longer, they will be less moist.
***Using oven-proof dishes with thick walls
(glass, ceramic etc.) may affect the baking time.
