Since 2020, BIOVEGAN Bourbon vanilla has been labelled with the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal.
The origin and quality of the raw materials play a key role for us – and this also applies to our bourbon vanilla. Since 2020, we have therefore sourced our bourbon vanilla exclusively from Rainforest Alliance-certified farmers to support our commitment to protecting people and the environment.
Together with producers, companies, consumers and others, the Rainforest Alliance is committed to a better future for people and nature. This includes contributing to the protection of biodiversity and natural resources as well as effective planning and farm management systems. In addition, certification helps to ensure better living conditions and human well-being on the ground.
The RFA seal is only used by agricultural companies that are certified according to the Rainforest Alliance standard for sustainable agriculture. With the signed written agreement, products from these certified farms may be traded or sold. The best bourbon vanilla from fair and certified sustainable cultivation is only available from BIOVEGAN.
The Rainforest Alliance Certified seal is becoming increasingly recognised. Consumers receive confirmation that the products have been produced on ecologically and socially responsible farms. The seal recognises products that have been certified by an accredited body in accordance with the Rainforest Alliance’s strict standards for sustainable agriculture.
