My Vegan Käshew Sauce

My Vegan Käshew Sauce based on cashew nuts is organic and gluten-free. This alternative for a cheese sauce can easily be prepared with a soy drink to have a delicious sauce for pasta, vegetables or casseroles.

 

With its fine spices and creaminess, our Käshew sauce is the perfect vegan cheese alternative for a bechamel sauce or sauce Mornay, as a base for different pasta sauces, lasagna and vegetable casseroles. It can also be used for eggs Benedict or a vegan cheese leek soup.

Content: 37,5g for 250 ml of soy drink

Preparation

For the Käshew sauce you also need:

  • 250 ml unsweetened soy drink.

Note: Other vegetable drinks are not suitable.

Put my vegan Käshew sauce in a saucepan with the soy drink and stir vigorously with a whisk. Let your sauce boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly.
